The story

New doors on an old street.

Francis Street has been trading since medieval times. It is Dublin's antiques row, a short stroll from Christ Church and St Patrick's. The old arches of the Iveagh Market sit a minute up the footpath. We joined the street in December 2024, took the corner at 101-103, and painted it green.

Inside it is dark wood, deep greens and candlelight. Out the back sits a heated yard with a roof that rolls away whenever Dublin allows it. Molly's is run by the independent crew behind Galway Bay Brewery. They have poured their own beer in their own pubs across Dublin and Galway for years.

And the scallop shell above our name? A tip of the cap to Molly Malone, Dublin's most famous cockle seller, who wheeled her barrow through streets like this one.
